Training Camp Reminder...

Training camp for next season starts Monday, August 23 and runs through Friday, August 27. Times are 10:45 - 11:45 AM and 2:15 - 3:15 PM each day. Players trying out for the team must be enrolled at A&M and provide health insurance information on the first day of camp.

Aggies Set 2010-2011 Season Schedule...

The 2010-2011 ice hockey schedule has been released by the team. The home opener is set for September 24, 2010 against Baylor. The Aggies have fifteen home games this season so everyone can come out and be a part of the winning tradition of Texas A&M Ice Hockey.

Congratulations to Coach Sean Boyle and Brian Young for receiving ACHA Awards this past week. Coach Boyle was named Division II West Regional Coach of the Year while Brian Young was named Division II West 3rd Team Defensive Player. These awards represent the dedication to excellence and leadership towards the sport of college hockey and Texas A&M University. Please congratulate and show your appreciation to these outstanding individuals.

2010 - 2011 Training Camp & Team Tryouts...

The 2010 - 2011 training camp will be held August 23 - 27 at Arctic Wolf Ice center. The training camp runs Monday through Friday and the times are 10:45 - 11:45 AM and 2:15 - 3:15 PM each day. Official team tryouts will be held on Tuesday August 31st at 9:30 PM and Thursday September 2nd at 10:15 PM. Players who did not attend Training Camp must pay $50 to tryout.

End of the Year Banquet....

This year was a big year for Aggie Ice Hockey and to celebrate the occasion, we would like to make an invitation for everyone to join us. The banquet will be held at the University Club on the 11th floor of Rudder Tower on Friday, March 26th at 7:30 PM.

The Aggie Icers are sponsoring the event and have requested black and white attire. Cost of the event will be $15.00 per person payable to the Icers at the door.

The first time in the team's history of making the regional playoffs was short-lived as the Aggies fall to the Eastern Washington University Eagles on Friday by a score of 1-4. Thank you Aggies for a tremendous and history making season!

Ags Beat Mustangs; Head to Colorado For Regionals...

Hats off to the SMU team for making the trip to College Station and giving the Aggies a physical, fast paced hockey game. Although a short bench, the Mustangs played a good hockey game and provided the Aggies some needed preparation for the playoffs next weekend. The Aggies prevailed and beat the Mustangs by a score of 7-2. Go Aggies! Gig'em at the Regional playoffs!

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Southern Methodist University will not make the trip to College Station for Friday night's game, thus forfeiting the game to the Aggies. Arctic Wolf Ice and the Aggie Ice Hockey team have agreed to play a Maroon & White game in its place Friday night for the fans. SMU will be here for the Saturday night game at 5:45 PM. Come out and show the team your support as they prepare for the upcoming Regional playoffs. Go Ags!

In the final Division II college hockey rankings by the American Collegiate Hockey Association, Texas A&M has moved up to #10 in the West Region. This is the highest ranking in team history and for the first time, the team is headed to the Regional Playoffs. The Aggies open the tournament in Greeley, Colorado against the #3 seed Eastern Washington Eagles on Friday, February 26, 2010 at 5 PM. Please show your support for the team as they prepare for the Regional Playoffs!
